Alex Hart is Executive Vice President and General Manager of CheckFree’s Electronic Banking Services Division. In this role, Hart is responsible for the strategic direction, business development and daily operations of the Electronic Banking Services Division, which includes growing the online banking and electronic billing and payment relationships with thousands of CheckFree financial institution clients and prospects.
Hart joined CheckFree in April 2007, following its acquisition of Corillian Corporation, where he served as President since 2001 and Chief Executive Officer since 2002. During his tenure at Corillian, Hart also served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, where he led the Company’s efforts in mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, and strategic alliances.
Hart’s extensive industry leadership experience includes serving as Vice President of Business Development for TransPoint, Microsoft's electronic bill presentment and payment venture with First Data Corporation and Citibank, and Product Planning Manager for Microsoft’s Personal Finance Division. He joined Microsoft from CheckFree Corporation, where he was Vice President of Product Management and Strategic Alliances. Hart’s time at CheckFree followed nine years at NationsBank (now Bank of America), where he helped create new ventures in online banking, insurance and investments, and auto lending and leasing. |
