AREAS OF PRACTICE Criminal Litigation - General Litigation - Commercial Upon graduation from Baylor Law School, Alex joined the Smith County District Attorney’s office, eventually serving as the Chief Misdemeanor Prosecutor and Asset Forfeiture Attorney. Since joining Looper Reed & McGraw in 2007 he concentrates his practice primarily in General and Commercial Litigation. REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE Lead counsel in successful prosecutions of drug and weapon possession offenses, Driving While Intoxicated offenses, and assault and Assault Family Violence offenses. Successfully defended Motions to Suppress and Motions for Summary Judgment. Obtained numerous default judgments in Asset Forfeiture Cases.
