Alex Dietz is the division leader of the Acxiom Information Products Division (AIPD). This division is responsible for the InfoBase line of data products, including Personicx, the fraud and risk mitigation products, including InsightIdentify and Acxiom Information Security Services, and the European data products business. The Information Products Division uses a product lifecycle management strategy to manufacture and deliver its products. Since all of these products are routinely incorporated into Acxiom services and data factory solutions, the Products Division works closely with the other two Acxiom divisions to ensure that all customer requirements are being properly addressed.
Alex has been with Acxiom over three decades. He was previously the organizational leader for the Products & Infrastructure Technology Organization and the de facto Acxiom CTO. This organization was responsible for creating the strategy and direction for the corporate technology infrastructure, as well as for developing the software and systems that deliver Acxiom’s products and solutions. In this role, Alex managed the deployment of Acxiom’s grid technology and the Company’s internal information systems and business intelligence processes.
In the late 1990s, he spent a number of years leading Acxiom’s Data Products Division. In that capacity, Alex was directly involved in the development and rollout of Acxiom’s Customer Data Integration software, AbiliTec, and the growth and expansion of the InfoBase line of data products. He also pioneered the development and implementation of product lifecycle management at Acxiom.
Alex joined Acxiom in 1970 as an officer and has served in a variety of senior-level management positions since that time, including president of the National Marketing Services Division, manager of Acxiom’s Advanced Systems Division and chief information officer.
Prior to joining Acxiom, Alex was a systems engineer with IBM. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from Tulane University. |
