Mr. Mandl was appointed to the board in June of 2007. Mr. Mandl is currently Executive Chairman of the Board of Gemalto and was formerly President and Chief Executive Officer of Gemplus International now merged into Gemalto. Previously Mr. Mandl served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Teligent President and Chief Operating Officer of AT&T and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sea-Land Service Inc. the domestic and international predecessor of Horizon Lines. In addition he served as Senior Vice President of CSX in charge of corporate development human resources and information technology and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Seaboard Coast Line Industries. Mr. Mandl currently also serves on the boards of Dell Computer Corporation where he chairs the Finance Committee and Willamette University. He previously served on the boards of AT&T Sea-Land Service Warner Lambert Pfizer and In-Q-Tel. Mr. Mandl holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley and a BA in economics from Willamette University. |
