Retired Executive Vice President, Cox Communications, Inc.
Prior to his retirement in 2000, Mr. Best was the executive Vice President of Cox Communications, Inc. From 1986 through 1999, he served as the Vice President of Engineering of Cox. Since 2000, Mr. Best has continued to consult for Cox on a part-time basis. From 1966 through 1986, Mr. Best worked for Scientific Atlanta, and was involved in nearly every aspect of their cable television product development and business applications. Mr. Best served as Chairman of the National Cable Television Association’s Engineering Advisory Committee from 1995 until 2000. |
