Mr. Goryachkin joined Golden Telecom upon graduating from Moscow State University of Communications and Informatics in 1994. Mr. Goryachkin started as engineer and had a continually rising career with Golden Telecom, holding positions of Leading Engineer, Transmission Systems Department Head, Backbone Network Operations Director and Deputy Technical Director until he was appointed Chief Technical Officer and Vice President in May 2005. Mr. Goryachkin is in charge of the Technical Division (staffed with 1,000 employees) and as CTO is responsible for Golden Telecom’s corporate technical and IT policy and network development strategy. As a member of the management team he also shares responsibility for the Company’s financial performance. |
