Aleksandra A. Miziolek, a Dykema attorney, has established a practice that primarily focuses on mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure and finance matters for clients in the automotive industry as well as Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) formed to provide essential services to communities and jurisdictions.
Based in Detroit, she delivers legal counsel to publicly and privately held companies on general corporate matters, secured and unsecured financings, joint ventures and other strategic alliances. In addition, Ms. Miziolek also advises public companies and their boards of directors, including special committees, in corporate governance and fiduciary duties.
Ms. Miziolek and her team at Dykema were cited by one automotive client, Ford Motor Company, for managing an extremely complex series of transactions involving the purchase and orderly divestiture of 23 facilities of Visteon Corporation, a major global automotive supplier. Ms. Miziolek was instrumental in the timely and successful completion of the complex $7 billion transaction which involved the survival of the supplier.
She also played a key role in helping infrastructure client Macquarie Securities complete several major transactions that expanded the company's U.S. portfolio. In addition, she represents Detroit Windsor Tunnel in general corporate matters.
Active in community and professional organizations, Ms. Miziolek serves on several boards as a director or advisor. She also lectures on corporate and securities law topics in the classroom as well as at business forums.
She is Director of Dykema's Business Services Department and co-leader of its Infrastructure and Project Finance Practice Area. |
