Alejandro's practice includes general civil and commercial litigation.
Experience
Before joining McConnell Valdés, Alejandro worked as a Law Clerk in the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. He first served a three-year term with U.S. District Judge Jay A. García-Gregory, followed by a one-year term with newly-apointed U.S. District Judge Francisco A. Besosa. As a law student, he worked three semesters as Student Law Clerk to Judge García-Gregory and one summer as an intern in the chambers of U.S. Circuit Judge Juan R. Torruella of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He also served as an Associate Editor of the University of Puerto Rico Law Review.
Education
Alejandro holds a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico.
Admissions
Alejandro is admitted to practice before the courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the State of Florida. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the District of Puerto Rico and for the Southern District of Florida.
Languages
In addition to Spanish and English, Alejandro speaks French.
