Alberto Ramos leads XL Capital Assurance's (XLCA) Global Infrastructure group. The group, which is made up of senior transactors located in XLCA's New York, London and Madrid offices, structures and executes infrastructure project finance transactions including financing essential assets in the transportation, health, education, water and public facilities sectors. Prior to joining XLCA in 2000, Mr. Ramos worked for 12 years at Banco Santander Central Hispano, where, in his last position, as a project finance senior transactor, he led the firm's project finance business in Latin America. Mr. Ramos received an M.A. degree from the Valladolid University of Economics and an M.B.A., with honors, from the Instituto de Empresa Business School in Madrid. |
