Mr. Scalise joined SiBEAM with over 22 years of experience in IC Design, system and software development and product management. Scalise came from Silicon Image where he was Director of the IC Design Engineering team developing HDMI devices for consumer electronics products and is one of the inventors of HDMI. Scalise came to Silicon Image through an acquisition of DVDO where he was a Principal Engineer architecting and designing digital video processing ASICs. He spent ten years at Apple Computer as a Lead Design Engineer where he was nominated for the prestigious CEO Technical Award for research and development in recognition of his groundbreaking work on the Power Macintosh. He holds nine U.S. patents and has a B.S. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the California State Polytechnic University Pomona.
