Albert Liu serves as our Vice President of Legal and Corporate Development and Company Secretary. He joined NETGEAR in October 2004 as General Counsel and Company Secretary. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Liu acted as General Counsel and Secretary for Yipes Enterprise Services, an emerging telecommunications services company, overseeing all legal matters. From 2000 through 2004, he served as General Counsel, Director of Human Resources and Secretary of Turnstone Systems, Inc., a telecommunications equipment provider where he counseled senior management and the board of directors on public company reporting compliance and corporate legal issues.
Mr. Liu began practicing law with the New York firm of Sullivan & Cromwell, advising clients on all aspects of corporate and securities law, leading public and private securities offerings, and negotiating and finalizing venture capital investments and contracts. Before entering the legal field, he was a software engineer at Tandem Computers. |
