Dr. Gough is the Vice President of Discovery Technology at Cellumen. He joined the Company in 2005 and oversees the integration of screening technologies, Informatics, Information Technology, Operations and Intellectual Property. Dr. Gough has a strong knowledge-base in cell biology, biophysics, digital imaging, optical engineering and product development. He was the Vice President of Research and Development and the Vice President of Operations at Cellomics Inc. before joining Cellumen. Dr. Gough earned his doctorate in Biophysics from Carnegie Mellon University where he subsequently served as the Director of Imaging Technology at the Center of Light Microscope Imaging and Biotechnology at Carnegie Mellon University. He has authored or co-authored 6 patents in the areas of data analysis, cell-based screening and fluorescence-based reactions. |
