Albert C. Van Kirk III, King’s Medical founder and majority shareholder, has more than 30 years of experience in the medical imaging and therapy field and is credited with developing numerous innovative business strategies. In the early eighties, he introduced the "fee-for-service" business model, making CT scanners available to small and rural hospitals. King’s was also one of the first providers of diagnostic imaging services to utilize market research and local physician marketing to increase utilization. Prior to founding King’s Medical Group, Van Kirk held management positions with Xerox and the Technicare Division of Johnson & Johnson. He is a graduate of Kent State University (Kent, OH). |
