Albert C. Bellas is a member of Brock Capital Group LLC and a co-founder of the Solaris Group LLC. The Solaris Group is a specialized global wealth strategy and asset management firm for ultra high net-worth individuals, families and family offices, foundations and charitable programs, and institutions.
Previously, Mr. Bellas served as Chairman and CEO of Neuberger Berman Trust Company, N.A., where he was Managing Director of Neuberger Berman, LLC. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at Offitbank, where he was a member of the Management Committee. Prior to his work at Offitbank, Mr. Bellas was a Senior Executive Vice President at Shearson Lehman Brothers Inc. While at Lehman Brothers, Mr. Bellas was a member of the Board of Directors, Director and Chairman of Operating Committee for the Public Finance Division. Additionally, he chaired various firm-wide commitment committees responsible for approving investment banking transactions and private partnerships investments.
Before joining Shearson Lehman Brothers, Mr. Bellas was a General Partner at Loeb Rhoades & Co., a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co., and an Associate at Dillon Read & Co., Inc.
Mr. Bellas is Director for Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Chairman Emeritus of the School of American Ballet, Director of Guild Hall of East Hampton, Member of the Board of Regents and Chairman of the Investment Committee at the Mercersburg Academy, Treasurer of the Century Association, Trustee and Member of the Investment Committee for the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Foundation, and a Past Trustee of St. Mary’s Foundation for Children.
