In more than two decades with J. Walter Thompson (JWT), Alan worked on three different continents and created award-winning advertising in several different languages. He was creative director at JWT New York and Tokyo, executive creative director of the Amsterdam and Chicago offices, vice chairman of Chicago, and a director of JWT Worldwide. He has led the creative work for major national and international campaigns in just about every category, with clients such as Quaker (where he first worked with Rick Sterling and Michael Rice), Kraft, Heineken, Kodak, Ford, Discover Card, Lever, Meade Johnson, Northern Telecom, McDonnell Douglas, and Ameritech. At Sterling-Rice Group, Alan has been instrumental in building a full-service advertising agency around our core strengths in consulting and marketing. |
