A graduate from the University of Missouri Kansas City (USA) MBA in finance, and MA in economics. Further, he graduated form West Bohemian University in Pilsen, where he studied information and financial management.
Since March 31, 2005, he has been Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CEZ Prodej, s.r.o. (term of office until March 30, 2010, re-election possible), from June 18, 2004, he has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Zapadoceska energetika, a.s. (term of office until June 17, 2009), since February 15, 2007, he has been Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company, since March 21, 2005, he has been a member of the Supervisory Board of CEZ Zakaznicke sluzby, s.r.o. (term of office until March 20, 2010, re-election possible), since January 1, 2006, he has been one of the directors of the international association Eurelectric in Brussels and since December 1, 2005 he has been a member of the General Assembly and Executive Committee of Foratom in Brussels.
Between April 27, 2004 and April 21, 2006, he was Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of CEZ, a.s., between June 29, 2004 and August 31, 2004, he was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CEZ Data, s.r.o., between September 1, 2004 and April 10, 2007 he was Vice-Chairman of the company´s Supervisory Board. |
