And he's held such titles as creative director, chief creative officer and executive vice president for a string of prestigious agencies. But what people find most interesting about him is his passion for jazz guitar and master's degree in Jazz Arranging & Composition from Howard University. Alan serves as imc˛'s senior vice president, executive creative director where his daily grind consists of accelerating creative innovation and taking us to new levels with his expertise in emerging media. In fact, he's been one of the industry leaders in the evolution of traditional :30 TV to new and emerging digital ad units. With more than 20 years in the biz, he's no stranger on Madison Avenue. Alan is a frequent speaker on emerging media at Brand Marketing Summits for such companies as Johnson & Johnson, Verizon, Google, Comcast, OMMA and others. He has also been a guest speaker at many of the top educational institutions in the country including the MIT Media Lab and Rhode Island School of Design. Prior to joining imc˛, Alan co-founded Brand New World, serving as chief creative director. He was responsible for stewarding digital and emerging creative for brand marketers such as Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola's Global iMarketing group and Verizon. He has also held top creative positions at McCann Digital, FutureBrand WorldWide and Pittard Sullivan New York. In addition to his master's from Howard University, Alan also holds Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism & Communications from The Ohio State University and a Certification in Advanced Creative Strategy from Northwestern University. |
