Alan Michels oversees a worldwide delivery organization whose primary responsibility is to develop, implement and support all GSS products and solutions.
In this role, Michels leads product development and product management and the customer care organization responsible for post-implementation support.
Under Michels’ leadership, CSG has improved the efficiency of the Global Software Services Division and has consistently increased customer satisfaction levels.
Michels has more than 28 years' experience in leading technology and telecommunications companies.
Prior to CSG, Michels was president and chief executive officer of Telewest Communications, where he led a successful IPO of this leading United Kingdom-based cable company that delivers cable TV, telephony and Internet services over its broadband network.
During his career, Michels also served as vice president and chief financial officer for US WEST Newvector Group, a provider of wireless communications services and as vice president of finance and corporate services for Applied Communications, Inc., a leading provider of transaction processing software, primarily to the banking industry.
Michels earned a bachelor's degree in history and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University.
