In addition to his business and professional acumen, Alan brings to the position nearly 30 years of experience in financial services, memberships in professional service organizations and an optimistic approach for meeting each day with enthusiasm.



Alan began his career as a credit analyst for a large credit corporation in Portland, OR. In 1984 Alan returned to San Diego to assume the role of Vice President/Manager for a community bank. Today, Alan shares with his team his broad experience in helping clients achieve their financial goals.



Augmenting his professional achievements Alan holds, with academic distinction, a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from San Diego State University.



In his most challenging role yet, in 2005 and 2006, Alan took on the role of coach for a girl’s softball team in Point Loma. He is a member of the board of the Peninsula Youth Softball Association. Alan is also actively involved in the Rotary Club of Del Mar.
