Alan Kravets is President and part owner of Sheldon Good & Company Auctions, LLC, and a former partner and founder of a 25 member real estate law firm in Chicago, Illinois. He specializes in real estate matters for owners, buyers, developers, and lenders and is a licensed REALTOR in 15 states. He received his BBA from the University of Michigan Business School and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He frequently lectures on real estate, brokerage, disposition aspects of problem loans, workouts and auction matters for Continuing Education, professional forums and associations from coast to coast. He was chosen as a member of Lambda Alpha International, an honorary land economics society and The Economic Club of Chicago. He personally was responsible for $1 Billion Dollars of loan workouts for various lenders. Mr. Kravets is a board member of the International Association of Attorneys and Executives in Corporate Real Estate (AECRE), a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Turnaround Management Association (TMA), the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and the Illinois Hotel and Lodging Association (IHLA).
He has used his considerable knowledge of real estate law and skillful business acumen to structure successful auction disposition strategies for individual owners and entrepreneurs, Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, trusts and created disposition solutions in Bankruptcy and Chancery litigation for all types of real estate and business matters.
