Alan Hawksley is a self-employed counsel in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm’s Chicago office. He is a member of the Firm’s Employee Benefits Department, where his practice focuses on fiduciary matters, including ERISA litigation. He has published numerous articles on these subjects in Journal of Deferred Compensation, Tax Management Compensation Planning Journal, Taxation for Lawyers, Taxation for Accountants, Employee Benefits Journal and The American Banker.
Alan is a member of the Illinois bar. He is also a member of the legislative advisory committee of the ESOP Association.
