A Jacksonville native, Chief Systems Architect Alan Gordie has worked with Mr. Meadow for 10 years following tenures as a software developer for both Merrill Lynch and Northern Lights Software. With Real Data Center and Payformance before that, Alan has specialized in taking conceptual ideas from the white board and transforming them into functional code capable of delivering innovative, software-driven and patented solutions to manual business problems. A software engineer for over 15 years, Gordie has managed sizeable development teams, introducing new coding methods to achieve superior results. An Open Source advocate and Linux enthusiast, Mr. Gordie has embraced Linux server administration, cluster design and programming in creating more cost effective and highly scaleable platforms. His design for a Linux-based, high-speed, on demand check image archive system has empowered banks to pull individual check images in less than a quarter of a second from among many billions of items stored. He has designed cross-platform document design and printing solutions for Fortune 500 clients; as well as, a barcode driven secure document validation and delivery system. A computer artist who has won, placed and been officially recognized in global 3D graphics, real-time rendering and simulation competitions, he currently utilizes C++/Python and OpenGL to meet VisRE's 3D visualization needs. A Mac OS enthusiast, he has produced videos showcasing VisRE technology previews. |
