Alan Fisher left the British Army in 1995 and joined the Casualty Care Research Center (CCRC) in Washington DC. As Technical Director of the US Department of Defense Telemedicine Training Team, Alan has been involved in deploying telemedicine solutions developed by TeleMedic Systems into some of the most austere and hostile environments in the world. Upon his return to the UK as Head of Medical Engineering at a prominent UK NHS Trust, this wide experience of telemedicine "at the sharp end" allowed Alan to again lead the way in deploying telemedicine solutions throughout the UK. Immediately before joining TeleMedic Systems, Alan was employed as Medication Safety Clinical Scientist with Alaris Medical, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of their "Guardrails" infusion safety system. Alan is delighted to have resumed his long relationship with TeleMedic Systems as their Sales Director, and relishes the opportunity place the new VitalLink3 and VitalNet technologies into environments where no other device can cope. |
