Alan Fair is Senior Vice President & Senior Managing Director, Finance, of SunAmerica Affordable Housing Partners, Inc. Mr. Fair joined SunAmerica in 1996 and is responsible for developing credit and debt structures for the tax-exempt and taxably financed Tax Credit properties, along with coordinating and monitoring activities relating to the tax-exempt financing process. Mr. Fair has specialized in tax-exempt finance for over 15 years, with exclusive focus since 1988 on the structuring, placement, refinancing, and underwriting of Multifamily Housing Bonds. Prior to joining SunAmerica, he was a Senior Vice President for First Interstate Bank, responsible for all multifamily housing capital market activities. From 1985 to 1991, Mr. Fair worked for Kemper Securities Group, as a Vice President in Investment Banking, and prior thereto, from 1983 to 1985, as a staff attorney, where his responsibilities included legal review, arbitration hearings, and compliance for Kemper's brokerage operations. Mr. Fair is a graduate of Michigan State University and received his J.D. Degree from the University Of Denver College Of Law. He is a member of the State Bar in Colorado and Michigan.
