Alan is a former editorial page editor of the Courier-Post, based in Cherry Hill, N.J., an 80,000-circulation daily. A winner of numerous national, regional and state journalism awards, he most recently held a similar title and responsibilities with Elauwit in Staten Island, N.Y., where he oversaw the successful launch of the Staten Island Source, the Island’s only alternative weekly newspaper. Alan is responsible for all editorial operations and production of Elauwit's newspapers, as well as the day-to-day operations of the company. Alan is also the founder and president of Profitable Papers, LLC, a company that provides research, analysis and consulting to small to mid-sized weekly newspapers. |
