Alan Becker is a partner in the Business Services and Securities Groups. Mr. Becker assists clients with many types of corporate transactions, including securities, mergers and acquisitions and matters relating to financial institutions. A summa cum laude graduate of Indiana University School of Law, Mr. Becker was instrumental in drafting legislation for LLCs in Indiana. He has been a practicing attorney and a member of the firm since 1981, and a partner since 1987. He was appointed to the Indiana Corporate Law Survey Commission by Govenor Joe Kernan.

Mr. Becker has written and lectured extensively on several topics, including limited liability companies, business transactions and securities law. He has presented to several continuing legal education seminars on topics such as "Choosing Business Entities," "Securities Law Liability of Finders, Capital Consultants, Promoters, Attorneys and Accountants," "Preparation and Delivery of Legal Opinions," "Avoiding Problems Under State and Federal Securities Laws," and "Partnerships and Limited Partnerships."
