Alan R. Feldstein, a partner, is the Chair of our Commercial Real Estate Department. Alan graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo (B.A., 1966) and the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1969) and was admitted to the bar in 1970. He has practiced commercial real estate law continuously since 1971, representing banks, insurance companies, developers and business clients in sales, purchases and financing (both permanent and construction) of commercial property, leasing (both landlord and tenant) of office, retail, industrial and warehouse facilities, the development of industrial parks and tax deferred exchanges. Mr. Feldstein has also practiced in the public finance area, acting as company counsel, bond counsel, and lender’s counsel in various tax-exempt and taxable industrial development agency bond financings. He is listed in The Bond Buyer's Municipal Marketplace, the definitive listing of qualified bond counsel (The Redbook). Alan has been a partner with Boylan, Brown since 1999. Prior to that he was a real estate partner with Phillips, Lytle LLP and with Nixon, Hargrave, Devans & Doyle (now Nixon, Peabody LLP) where he was vice chair of the real estate department. |
