Dr. Alan E. Jones is Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of IP Wireless. Alan has been with IPWireless since its inception in 1999. He is responsible for systems engineering and standards. Alan began his career at IPWireless as technical director and was responsible for system engineering the IPWireless solution for mobile broadband data. Alan holds several patents in wireless communications and has published numerous technical papers in the field of communications. Prior to joining IPWireless, Alan held lead engineering roles at Motorola and Hewlett Packard Laboratories. Dr Jones holds a Ph.D and a Bachelor of Engineering degree both in electronic engineering from the University of Bradford.
