Mr. Alzfan specializes in providing financial reporting, tax compliance, tax planning, tax advisory and financial management consulting services to investment partnerships. His clients include domestic and offshore hedge funds, registered investment advisors and related entities. He provides advice on various business and administrative issues, including starting and operating their businesses, and he assists his clients in the formation of new funds, including reviewing various partnership documents. Mr. Alzfan manages the firm’s relationship with Advent Software, Inc., producer of software solutions, data integration tools and services for the financial services industry. In addition to managing the firm’s participation in Advent conferences, Mr. Alzfan is a regular speaker at these events. Mr. Alzfan assists in the development and implementation of the firm’s Continuing Professional Education courses in investment partnerships. A member of both the American Institute and the New York State Society of CPAs, Mr. Alzfan is an active member of the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island’s business advisory board and assists in the planning of many fund-raising activities and events. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Wall Street Hedge Fund Forum, Inc. and a member of the Committee of Hearts for Hedge Fund Cares. He earned a B.S. in accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton. |
