Alan B. Levan became a Director in 2002. In May 2002 Mr. Levan was elected Chairman of the Board of Bluegreen. Mr. Levan has been the Chairman of the Board President and Chief Executive Officer of BankAtlantic Bancorp Inc. (BBC) a publicly held financial services holding company principally engaged through its subsidiaries in banking and investment banking since 1994 and President and Chairman of the Board of BankAtlantic since 1987. Mr. Levan also serves as Chairman of the Board of Levitt a publicly-held real estate development company. Mr. Levan has also served as the Chairman of the Board President and Chief Executive Officer of BFC Financial Corporation (BFC) or its predecessors since 1978. BFC is a publicly-held savings bank holding company whose principal assets are its interests in BBC and Levitt.
