Drawing on his extensive industry experience, Alain’s practice includes a specialization in recruiting individuals involved in the entire drug development process, ranging from discovery to commercialization. Alain was previously affiliated with Euromedica, a prominent European executive search firm. In addition to his search responsibilities, Alain held several management positions within the company. He was managing director of the firm’s Paris office and spearheaded the successful reorganization and growth of Euromedica’s operations on the Continent. Alain developed his understanding of the industry’s talent requirements during his 12 years with Servier, a global pharmaceutical company headquartered in France. As Director of Licensing and Business Development for the U.S. and Canada, he was responsible for all aspects of licensing agreements, developing strong relationships with many North American companies as well as investment banks and law firms. Based in the Paris office, Alain holds a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Universite René Descartes, Paris V. He attended Tufts University, pursuing post-graduate studies in clinical pharmacology, as well as in financial analysis and business intelligence. He is active in several professional organizations, including the Licensing Executives Society and the France Biotech Association. |
