Mr. Couder brings more than 30 years of international management experience to Bookham. Prior to joining the Company in August 2007 Mr. Couder served as President and CEO of Solid Information Technology Inc. a supplier of database solutions. Previously he served as an advisor for Sofinnova Ventures a venture capital firm. Mr. Couder has also held the positions of President and CEO of Confluent Software Inc. a provider of web services management and President and CEO of IP Dynamics Inc. a security software provider. Mr. Couder previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Agilent Technologies Chairman and CEO of Packard Bell NEC Inc. and Chief Operating Officer of Groupe Bull a computer company. He also held a series of general and technology management positions at Hewlett Packard and IBM.
Mr. Couder holds a Master's degree in electrical engineering from the École Supérieure d’Électricité in Paris. |
