Ajay Singh is United's vice president of Corporate Real Estate. He is based at the company’s headquarters in Chicago.
Named to the position in January 2006, Singh is responsible for leading the planning, engineering and construction efforts for United’s U.S. domestic and international airport and off-airport facilities. In addition, he manages lease and landing fee obligations for the company.
Prior to his current position, he served as managing director of the Business Transformation Office working on the company’s business improvement initiatives, financial planning and performance management. He has been involved with numerous projects to optimize the company’s resources. Singh joined United in 1992, and has held several management positions in the Information Services division, including director of Research and Development, where he was responsible for leading the development of technology solutions for United's operations.
Singh holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering and operations research from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. |
