Ahmed Mahmoud is the Chief Information Officer of AMD and is responsible for managing the company’s global technology infrastructure to best meet internal needs and serve AMD’s customers.
Mahmoud joined AMD in 2008 bringing more than 20 years of enterprise information technology (IT) leadership experience. Most recently he spent 13 years at Dell where he served as vice president of IT. During his time there he led a series of transformational efforts across its data warehousing virtual storefront manufacturing supply chain and corporate computing operations.
Mahmoud also held various IT leadership and instruction positions at Eastman Kodak The University of Houston and Texas A&M University. He earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in physics from Texas A&M University and lives in Austin TX. |
