I have over six years of experience in the pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, and Home Infusion pharmacy industries.
Previous Industry Experience:
I was a Patient Care Rep. for a traditional Mail-Order pharmacy for one year. I spent four years working for a large Specialty Pharmacy where I had numerous responsibilities, including: training new employees, Q/A, IT systems support, and an in-house report writer for both internal and external customers.
Certification/Knowledge:
I am certified in Seagate Crystal reporting.
Work on Other Teams, Committees or Projects:
I was very involved in the design, development, implementation, and support of AdvancePCS and US BioServices two large specialty pharmacy customers. I co-authored the Specialty Rx Manual.
Why I work at D.H.S.?
I enjoy working at D.H.S. because I feel that even though I'm not directly in the pharmacy business, I can assist those that are and help them to better care for and assist patients to different degrees. Working here allows me to use my knowledge that I learned in my five years of specialty pharmacy as well as develop and grow in other areas of homecare and software. |
