Adam Holub (CISSP) is a Security Deployment Engineer for Special Ops Security, Inc., an information security consulting, training and deployment services organization headquartered in Orange County, California. While mainly employed by our Deployment & Integration tactical unit, he is also involved in our Security Education practice through his contributions in curriculum development and logistics. Prior to Special Ops Security, Adam was the Senior Deployment Manager for Foundstone, a vulnerability management and strategic security professional services company, acquired by McAfee in late 2004. Adam managed the operational logistics for deployment of the Foundstone FS1000 Appliance at dozens of Fortune 100 clients. He was integral in a large-scale security platform customization for the largest bank on the eastern seaboard, and spearheaded the manufacturing of the security appliance for the U.S. Department of Justice, according to strict government specifications. Additionally, Adam provided second-level support for the Foundstone On-Demand Service, a managed vulnerability assessment tool popular with small and medium sized businesses. Adam is currently pursuing the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation, with an emphasis in security operations. Adam earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (UMass) as well as advanced coursework at New York University (NYU). |
