Adam K. Weinstein is Senior Vice President, Secretary and Chief Legal Officer of ION Media Networks. From August 2000 through December 2004, Mr. Weinstein served as Assistant General Counsel, Vice President and Assistant Secretary.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Weinstein served as Assistant General Counsel of Oxbow Corporation, a privately owned power development and petroleum products trading company, where he was primarily responsible for the structuring, document preparation and negotiation of all phases of greenfield project development and the acquisition and sale of existing assets and project opportunities.
From 1988 to 1995, Mr. Weinstein was an attorney in private practice in the New York City office of White & Case, concentrating his practice on project finance, securities law, commercial financings, asset securitization, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Weinstein received his law degree from the Duke University School of Law in 1988 and a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from The George Washington University in 1985. He is admitted to the Bar in the State of New York and is certified as an Authorized House Counsel of Florida by The Florida Bar.
