Mr. Sigman has extensive experience in the retail sector with acquisitions, land use planning, leasing, construction and permanent financing, municipal participation and negotiating with anchor retailers.Representative Transactions:Represented the developer in its assemblage, acquisition, development and financing of a yacht club and marina in Key West, Florida with a projected cost of approximately $200,000,000 and including mega-yacht and large yacht slips, dry docks, boat engine repair and other marina support facilities, a hotel and boardwalk retail. Represented the developer in its acquisition, financing, and development of an 800,000 square foot power center plus outparcels involving the assemblage of real estate, re-zoning, other land use planning, simultaneous sales to two anchor retailers, and the procurement of municipal participation for new infrastructure and improvements to existing infrastructure for the project.Represented the developer in its acquisition, development and financing of a historic office building and warehouse in downtown Birmingham, Alabama, which included converting and rehabilitating the vacant structure into 74 loft apartments and underground parking, Alabama Housing Finance Authority bond financing, the sale of historic and affordable housing tax credits to an investor sponsored by Fannie Mae, and procuring a subordinated HUD/HOME Loan from the City of Birmingham, Alabama. |
