Adam J. Katz is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Washington, D.C. office. As a member of the Firm’s Energy & Derivatives Markets Practice Group, Adam focuses his practice on representing energy companies, investment banks and hedge funds in a variety of regulatory, transactional and risk management matters.
While in law school, Adam was a member of, and published author in, the Syracuse Law Review, and an editor on The Labor Lawyer. He was elected class president from 2001-02, and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Syracuse University Law Alumni Association.
Prior to joining McDermott, Adam served as a law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Adam is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia.
