Adam B. Frankel is a Senior Managing Director and the firm's General Counsel.
Prior to joining Evercore from 2003 until 2006 Mr. Frankel was Senior Vice President General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Genesee & Wyoming Inc. where he established the company's in-house legal department and was also responsible for matters related to human resources and government affairs. Prior to Genesee & Wyoming he worked from 1999 until 2003 as a corporate and transactions attorney in the Office of the General Counsel at Ford Motor Company. From 1995 until 1999 Mr. Frankel was an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in London and New York.
Mr. Frankel is currently a member of the Board of Directors at Picis Inc. a privately held company that creates automated software for resource-intensive hospital departments where he serves on the audit and compensation committees. He received a B.A. in economics from Brown University and a J.D. from Stanford Law School. Mr. Frankel was an editor of the Stanford Law Review and of the Stanford Law and Policy Review. |
