Adam B. Kaplan is an associate of the firm in its Litigation Department. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kaplan was an associate with another New Jersey law firm where he concentrated his practice on the defense of product liability and general negligence litigation. Mr. Kaplan is a graduate of Ohio University (1999), and received his law degree from the Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law (2002), where he earned a certificate in Dispute Resolution and Advocacy. He also participated in the National Wagner Moot Court Competition in labor and employment law and served as research editor of the Dickinson Law Review. Mr. Kaplan is the author of, Father Doesn’t Always Know Best: Rejecting Paternalistic Expansion of the Direct Threat Defense to Claims Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Dickinson Law Review (2001). Mr. Kaplan is a pupil of the Justice William J. Brennan, Jr. American Inn of Court and a member of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators. He is also a member of the American, Pennsylvania, New Jersey State and Essex County Bar Associations. Mr. Kaplan is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. |
