Abraham Wynperle joined us in November 1999 through our merger with Flower Farm Direct, Inc. Mr. Wynperle has more than 20 years of experience in the fresh cut flower industry in the U.S. In May 2000, Mr. Wynperle became our President and Chief Operating Officer and a member of our board of directors, from which he resigned in 2003. Prior to joining us, Mr. Wynperle was founder and Chief Executive Officer of Flower Farm Direct, Inc., a direct-from-the-grower Internet floral retailer from January 1998 to November 1999. Prior to that, Mr. Wynperle was Chief Executive Officer of Sunburst Farms-Floramerica Group, which was sold to Dole Food Company, Inc. in 1997. Mr. Wynperle holds an MBA and a BBA from the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Washington. |
