Abraham Ronai's practice includes both patent litigation, patent prosecution, and related counseling in the mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical and medical device related disciplines. Additionally, Mr. Ronai's practice involves providing counseling services on issues such as patent validity and infringement.
Before joining the Firm, Mr. Ronai was the Manager of Legal Affairs at a publicly traded medical device company, where he supervised patent litigation as well as patent and trademark prosecution.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Ronai practiced as a mechanical design engineering intern for the Pratt & Whitney division of United Technologies Corporation. Mr. Ronai has a strong scientific and technical background. Beginning with his undergraduate engineering degree (B.S. Mechanical Engineering 1995, with distinction from Cornell University) and continuing with his work in-house and at Kenyon & Kenyon, he has had a broad exposure to many areas of technology.
Mr. Ronai is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association and the New York Intellectual Property Law Association.
