Mr. Laydon practices in the firm's real estate group with a focus on transactional matters in the commercial arena. In this milieu, Mr. Laydon has experience representing highly capitalized and sophisticated investors in large scale land acquisitions and developments as well as corporate and government clients in the negotiation and drafting of contracts, leases, agreements in lieu of condemnation, and property management documents. Mr. Laydon started his career with his family's Denver-based property company as a licensed broker and business manager before sitting for the Colorado bar in 2005. During law school, Mr. Laydon won first place in the school's premier moot court competition, was an editor of the Colorado Journal of International Environmental Law and Policy, and was Vice President of his class. Mr. Laydon was born in Denver and is a fifth generation Coloradan. He speaks conversational French and is fluent in Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys Colorado sports, art and film, being involved with Cherry Hills Community Church, and spending time with his wife and two children. |
