Abigail is a seasoned executive search professional with over 15 years experience. Fate brought Abigail, who trained in the performing arts, to the executive search profession. While looking for employment during the film and television industry strikes in the early 80's, Abigail answered an advertisement placed by a "prestigious entertainment consulting company." This turned out to be a one-man search firm specializing in the film and broadcasting industries. Already familiar with these industry sectors, Abigail quickly learned the search business working on assignments for clients including 20th Century Fox, Group W Broadcasting, Paramount Pictures and HBO. In 1990 Abigail was recruited by Ward Howell International to work in their healthcare practice, working with consultants across the firm's U.S. offices. The practice's clients spanned venture capital backed, niche-specific health services, publicly traded and private provider/payer organizations to not-for profit hospitals, health foundations and academic medical centers. During the healthcare industry's explosive growth during the 90's, Abigail led and teamed on research and recruitment efforts on the more than 150 assignments.
