Abhay Misra brings extensive semiconductor experience to his position as Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing Operations. Formerly of Silicon Laboratories, Misra served as Director of Manufacturing Technology and Supplier Management. In this role, Misra was responsible for defining and executing the company's manufacturing strategies and outlining the company's multi-million dollar technology roadmap. Prior to joining Silicon Labs, Mr. Misra served as Director of Worldwide Foundry Operations for Cyrix Corporation. In this position, Misra focused on developing fabless operations strategies, including strong outsourced Assembly and Foundry supplier relations. He directed all product lines from market introduction to volume processing. He gained valuable experience in his role as Senior Product/Device Engineer for Dallas Semiconductor, Research Engineer for the American Research Corporation, and Semiconductor Device Characterization lab manager at Louisiana State University. Mr. Misra holds an MSEE from Louisiana State University and a BSEE also from Louisiana State University. |
