Hu Xiaowei (Aaron Hu, Esq.), Of Counsel, has extensive experience in representing clients in resolving international and domestic commercial disputes at all levels of courts in China, the China International Economic & Trade Arbitration Commission and local arbitration commissions at various cities of the Peoples Republic of China. Mr. Hu is also active in representing foreign and domestic investors in establishing enterprises with foreign investment, share transfers, M&A, reorganization of limited liability companies, liquidation, preparation of relevant documents, representation of clients in negotiation and rendering of PRC legal opinions. Mr. Hu also has a sound knowledge in the field of e-commerce and the local/international legal environment in this regard. Mr. Hu has acted as external legal counsel for companies, handling various routine legal assignments such as drafting, reviewing and/or advising on various contracts and legal documents, as well as dealing with labor disputes.In the area of the real estate, Mr. Hu has provided legal services necessary for the entire process, from the establishment of a project company to the sale of property, and has provided all aspects of legal services to developers of office buildings, mansions and housing projects. At the same time, Mr. Hu has represented many buyers of properties to assist them in executing pre-sale contracts and lease contracts, registration of pre-sale contracts and lease contracts, making endorsements and assignments, obtaining title certificates concerning land and buildings and preparing mortgages for the properties.Mr. Hu has been advisor to a comprehensive list of clients, which includes world-famous commercial banks, multinational companies, domestic and foreign listed companies, high-tech enterprises, and so forth. He obtained his Bachelor of Law degree in 1995 from East China University of Politics and Law, Shanghai, China. He was admitted to the bar in 1997. In 2001 he entered the School of Law at Manchester University in Manchester, U.K., where he received his LL.M degree with merit in 2002.
