Mr. Sharabaika is responsible for evaluating the financial and strategic options of financial institutions, performing financial analyses and valuations of banks and thrifts, and assessing the impact of national and regional trends on the financial services industry.
Prior to joining Hovde Financial, Mr. Sharabaika was a senior associate in KPMG LLP’s Transaction Services practice where he advised financial services clients on financial and lender due diligence.
Mr. Sharabaika earned a Master of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Loyola University Chicago. Mr. Sharabaika is a Board Member of the Women Micro-Finance Education Network, a NGO in ‘Special Consultative Status’ to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, an Associate Board Member at Scholarship Chicago and a volunteer of the City of Chicago’s Tax Assistance Program. |
