Van is President and CEO of Main Street Trust, Inc., and Chairman and CEO of Main Street Bank & Trust. Prior to joining Main Street Trust as a major owner in January 1994, Van served as Chief Investment Officer for a $700 million bank holding company in Illinois. Van has also worked for a regional banking organization in Houston, Texas.
He is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a BA in finance. He received his MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Van has been very active in many leadership capacities in the community. He currently serves as Chairman of the Carle Foundation and Carle Hospital. |
