Mr. Correll is chairman emeritus of the board of Georgia-Pacific Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia. Georgia-Pacific is one of the world's leading manufacturers and distributors of pulp, paper and building products. Mr. Correll joined Georgia-Pacific in 1988, was elected president and chief operating officer in 1991, and became president and CEO in 1993, titles he held through 2005.
Mr. Correll was elected to Mirant's Board of Directors in 2000.
